Tony Blair had just become Prime Minister of the UK. How would he position himself towards Europe?
Many Europeans wondered that. Hopefully there were no clashes...

Searching for a good layout...

... and looking for the best pose ... by folding the page I tested multiple poses with the same head :-)

Handsome people are not so easy to caricature. Several attempts were needed here...

For once I traced the final drawing on tracing paper. I hoped to be able to better preserve the fine details that way...

Next: a quick color test with colored pencil on a reduced photocopy ... a necessary step for me. I won't start painting without it...
